[i] The  Jordan Field School (JFS) Hisban Excavations is a collaborative undertaking organized by Andrews University's Institute of Archaeology and College of Arts and Sciences in cooperation with the Department of Antiquities of Jordan; the Municipality of Hisban; the American Center for Oriental Research (ACOR); the German-Jordanian University; the Madaba Plains Project; Missouri State University; the University of Bonn and the University of Oslo. Senior director of the JFS is Professor Oystein S. LaBianca (Andrews); Director of the Hisban Excavations is Professor Bethany Walker (Missouri State); Ms Maria Elena Ronza is Director of the Hisban Cultural Heritage Project and Administrative Director for JFS and Hisban Excavations.
